Thank you for including us in the process. I know little of how the budget process works and I assume this is probably covered but some focus around safety at Park Street Station and along Tremon Street (I believe this is the dividing line for your district) would have both tangible and intangible benefits as many in our community are wary of those blocks and that corner of the Common.

Thank you! Cameras in the Boston Common are one of my core priorities this year. We have effectively gotten a lot of attention to the Boston Common including more patrols as needed and I'm proud to work with our new A-1 captain in partnership to solve for any issues in the Parks or along the border of D8. Thanks for your advocacy as well!

1) No more too-tall buildings squeezed too-close to the Fens by manipulation of pre-existing restrictions. 2) Spending: the 8% budget increase was inexcusable; next year let's have a 0% increase.

Saying that we had an 8% increase might be factual but disingenuous because the Planning Department moved to the City last year and accounted for most of that. It's budget is self sustaining and revenue neutral. Re: the building at 2 Charlesgate W, I communicated with my constituents about that and will continue to do so on any projects that are controversial. I believe that the City's work in developing a shadow methodology is essential to help us review project's impacts effectively. Without my amendment, there would have been a dangerous precedent created for the parka system and I stand behind my approach.

Why only seasonal bathrooms on the Common? People - including residents- visit all year and even the increase in summer facilities is inadequate

Currently the friends of the public garden's contributors pay for the seasonal bathrooms. They are important enough that the city should take that on! That is why I'm advocating for that. I'm a huge fan of all-season expansion but I'm not sure that is in the cards this year! Thanks for your advocacy.
